Sorì Costa Fiore is the Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba vineyard with the greatest historical value for our winery.

Our family has been planting Dolcetto vines here since the 1950s and Claudio Alario bottled his first wine here in 1988.

Our land parcel is in the highest part of the natural amphitheatre of this Sorì. The altitude of 350 metres and, above all, the south-westerly exposure, make it the ideal home for a Dolcetto with an outstanding structure and good ageing potential. The soil contains a small percentage of clay, with an abundance of marl and the presence of significant layers of limestone.

Our vineyard is over sixty years old and the vines naturally produce lower yields than those defined in the production regulations.
