Sorano was Claudio Alario's first step into the world of Barolo from Serralunga d'Alba.

This municipality produces legendary Barolo wines and the many tastings we had participated in over the years had convinced us that we should try cultivating a small piece of land there.
We have been making wine from this MGA since 2000. Our parcel is located on the slope facing Castiglione Falletto and the vines were planted 25 over years ago. Its south-westerly exposure is ideal for producing wines with structure, characterised by tannins that fully comply with the canons of Serralunga d’Alba, and a taste spectrum full of personality.
