The Cascinotto vineyard has always been planted with Nebbiolo.
Just one kilometre from the village of Serralunga d’Alba, the soil is poor in sand but rich in limestone and marl, which are important characteristics for making a great Nebbiolo. Our vines are over 40 years old, and they express themselves here with power and character. At the beginning of his adventure, Claudio decided to produce a mature and sophisticated Nebbiolo d’Alba from this vineyard, capable of competing easily with the wines of the Barolo appellation.
